Susan and I started dating back in the fall of 2003. We decided to date a week before we took our annual trek up to Old Rag Mountain in the Shenandoah Valley. Six months later we got engaged, and six months after that we were married. It was August 7, 2004. We then went on our honeymoon. What fun. We have both loved the bed and breakfast idea, but hadn’t ever done that kind of vacation. We decided to do that. Our first b & b was in Chesapeake City, MD. We then looked at many of the New York Bed and Breakfast places. We booked one way up in Northern New York near Lake Placid, but we ended up staying at the Yale Manor b & b outside of Lake Seneca of the famous Finger Lakes. We then stayed at Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. It was a fun trip…which eventually led us to our beautiful little daughter Susannah. Praise God!
