Touch Screen Repair

Filed under: computer hardware, computer repair, electronics — Ted Johns @ 4:07 pm

I moved to Virginia to accept my first job in the IT world in 2000. The company was Automark. When I came around, Automark was moving heavily into the web business, but before that, they were all kiosks all the time. They would place touch screen kiosks into automobile dealerships, install the software and video and customers could then get information through the interactive kiosks. Because the kiosks were built before the age of the internet, they weren’t connected, so Automark had a bunch of technicians who would go all over the country performing touch screen repair and all other kinds of repair. As the company grew, they hooked them all up to the internet and that saved the company a ton of money.

  1. Hey Ted!
Just thought I’d say hi and that I’m thinking of you two as you count down the days! I’m so excited for you.
I’m busy as always, and never feel I have the time to really say what I want; but do know that you’re on my heart and mind.
